About

The OnlineFreelance weblog is powered by enthesiasm of the two passionate freelancers which have something to say about the freelancing culture and all the related stuff.

Alex Sedov, Technical Writer/Translator:

At all the companies I was working for I always faced the same problem. I wasn’t fitting in. The problem was actually not about working or communication skills. People around me were too different. They were okay with corporative rules, time schedules and the rest of the usual stuff, and they actually wanted nothing else in their lives than get to work on 9.00 A.M. and leave at 17.00 A.M. I just couldn’t get it, so at one point I decided to quit and become a freelancer. It was hard, but it turned out to be much better than company work for me. I was invited to blog for OnlineFreelance and I pleased to share my experience with you.

Alex Radostin, Web Developer:

I’ve started my web development career as a freelancer and I have never regretted this decision. Of course the way of the freelancer is not the easiest and not everyone has the guts :) But this gives endless opportunities and has some of the great spirit and passion of the first IT pioneers, who started their companies in garages, with only love for computers and programming and eventually became Apples, Microsofts and Ataris.
